What happens at the Central Office and what can I do there? There are a couple of key functions your office performs. Our first mission is to have our phone answered by volunteers. They direct AA members to meetings. They connect them with AA’s that can offer support. When needed or requested, they give information to get help through agencies or facilities. The phone is answered 24/7 by fellow AA’s who live in our service area. Another key effort is to supply literature. Did you know that the Central Office carries most publications available from AA? These include pamphlets. They are sold at cost. We also maintain and distribute the “Where and When” meeting list for the area we serve.

The next time you are in Blairsville, stop by and see us. We usually have some coffee ready. We would love to show you and tell you in person more about what we do! Have a suggestion for us? Send us an email at info@aamountainintergroup.org or use the form on the Contact Page.

AA Mountain Intergroup Central Office Needs Volunteers!

We are always seeking individuals to take a regular shift at the office. We also need people to fill in when others are sick or on vacation. We also need help with answering the after hour lines during the week and rotating weekend shifts. Soon we will be updating our 12 Step call lists. If you can support your Central Office with any of these service positions please send us an email (aamountainintergroup@gmail.com), Give us a call at 706-400-5531, or use the contact page by clicking here. Thank you for helping keep the hand of AA available to those in need.
